Alena playing with the stuffed horse mom got her for Xmas. She learned to stick out her tongue and it has been hilarious. She sticks it down not out so it makes a popping noise against her lip.

Now some sad news. I found a lump on Max's stomach and took her to the vet. He told me that he was almost sure that it was mammary cancer but the only way to confirm was a biopsy. I did the biopsy and it did come back cancer. In cats mammary cancer is aggressive and often spreads. He told me that even if we remove the tumors they are likely to come back and that her prognosis is about a year with treatment. So for now we are enjoying her, she acts normal and is not in pain. We will keep watch and when things change take her to the vet to reevaluate.
