Silly Lena

Alena is now almost 16 months old and so many changes are happening daily. She is really starting to pick up speech; we can ask her to say something and she will say it even if it is the first time hearing it. Some recent additions are: apple sauce, doggy, thanks, out side, inside, night night and my fave is poo poo. The last one was my first attempt at potty training. If she looks like she is pooping I asked her if she had poo poo. Well now when she has poo pooed she'll announce it to anyone close by. Hopefully that will be helpful later.

We have been spending lots of time at the pool and playing in the backyard. Alena just loves being outside. We have started to put her hair in a ponytail and pigtails. She really doesn't have much but it is still cute. She is still not a fan of anything in her hair and will often pull it out.

Her 15 mo stats were: weight 23 lbs 13 oz (60%), height 32.5 in (90%), and head circ 18 7/8 (90%). I must say I am really starting to notice the large head... Alena can't wear some 18 mo shirts because her head won't fit in them!
